It's been a while since I've done it, but I've decided it's time to stop slacking and return to doing my thing a month. The goal is to pick one thing that I do differently every day, and do it for a month, no excuses and no exceptions.
June is sleep month. I've been staying up too late lately. I've been playing around on the computer and watching TV too much lately. I also know that my mental health and my happiness level are heavily influenced by my sleep. It's gotten to the point where I've realized I really need to focus on sleeping more.
So for June, the challenge is to be in bed by 10:30 every night. I'm going to do a routine here. At 10:00 I'll meditate for 15 minutes, and then prep for bed. Wash face, brush teeth, etc etc. Then hit the sack. No TV, no computer, just go to bed. When I was married, my sleep was much better because my ex would go to sleep fairly early and I'd go along. These days being single, I tend to stay up too late screwing around. And I'm really tired of being tired.
Viva la month of sleep!
